AfriLabs invites you to apply for the RevUp Women Initiative: Nigeria Edition, an enterprise development initiative designed to accelerate early-stage, women-led businesses within the Agribusiness and E-commerce sectors through tailored support, capacity building, and access to a thriving pan-African innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply, you must:
1. Be a woman entrepreneur who owns at least 51% of the
business.
2. Be the CEO, Executive Director or equivalent of the
company
3. Be based in Lagos, Abuja, or
Abia States.
4. Have an existing product or service that is already in the market based in Lagos, Abuja or Abia States
To qualify, your business should meet all the following criteria:
• Online Sales Platform:   Do you have a website, mobile app, where customers can browse and order your products or services?
• Digital Payment System:   Can customers pay for your products or services online using debit cards, bank transfers, or digital wallets?
• Online Order Fulfillment:  Do you receive, process, and fulfil customer orders digitally?
• Use of Technology:   Do you use digital tools to manage key business operations (e.g., inventory, deliveries, customer support, sales tracking)?
• Scalable Digital Model  
Does your business have the potential to grow and serve more customers primarily through digital platforms?
• If you answer “No” to any of these, your business does not qualify as an e-commerce venture for this programme.
This includes businesses that:
• Only use WhatsApp or Instagram for marketing but complete all sales manually
• Do not have any online payment or ordering system
• Operate strictly offline without any digital infrastructure
Friends of Liberia (FOL) Grant
Friends of Liberia (FOL) invites Liberian Nonprofits and NGOs to apply for small grants up to $3,000 USD to support community development projects across a diverse range of focus areas.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Nonprofit/NGO Status: Only nonprofit organizations working in Liberia are eligible to apply. Organizations must be officially registered as not-for-profit or non-governmental entities by the Liberian government. Proof of this status is a required attachment for all applications
2. Completed Application: which must include the following attachments:
• Background Information
• Project Proposal
• Organization References
• Itemized Budget
• Proof of registration as a non-profit and/or NGO in Liberia Additional Information
• Preference will be given to Liberian-led organizations with a track record of successfully implementing community development projects.
• FOL will not award grants that serve as the exclusive source of support for the implementing organization. (i.e. FOL will not fund operational costs, administration fees, etc.)
• FOL also supports The Peace Corps Partnership program and may award small grants to currently serving Peace Corps Volunteers to support local projects.
Call for Submission of Articles on Girls and Women’s Education
As part of its commitment to research and the enhancement of scientific knowledge on the promotion of girls and women’s education in Africa, the AU/CIEFFA is launching a call for proposals for scientific articles aimed at researchers working in the intersections of gender equality and education in Africa. The aim of this initiative is to gather high-quality academic contributions that will inform education policies and decision-makers and build knowledge for African Union Member States in the field of girls’ and women’s education.
